((no, there are plenty of real things wrong with Ebin. Let me list them...))
"Er..." Darius was completely taken aback. Faye was never...this forward. Darius recollected himself and looked carefully at her.
"Er... he is manic depressive, apparently suicidal, um...I think he might have terets syndrome... he has uncontrollable anger, unsorted morals having to do with Fleur, and now this baby that Fleur is leaving all to him. Plus, he has financial concerns. At age 14. ((15?))"
Darius shifted and put his hands in his jacket pockets. "Faye, I wasn't trying to insult anybody..."
Darius' voice died into silence. Faye was a bit disturbed lately...Darius had no idea why.

Faye was speechless. She knew he had a temper and was often spiralled in depression, however suicidal and terets syndrome? ((This is happening before the dormitory incident))...Furthermore she couldn't believe that Fleur was leaving the baby all in Ebin's care. Little Alex was going to be motherless?? ((am I getting the facts wrong or is that really happening?)) She swayed a little, her thoughts everywhere. She felt weak and tired. Too much had happened all at once and she wasn't dealing with them particuarly well - or the way she wanted to. She wanted to be strong, but she did not know how.
"I know." She managed after a while of silence. "I know you didn't mean to insult anyone...and you weren't." She sighed heavily and looked at Darius. She wanted to tell him but she couldn't. She wasn't ready yet. Eyes filled with desperation, Faye merely stared at Darius with a blank expression across her face.

((oh, sorry! The truth is, the dormitory incident "happened" about a year ago, before Fleur's character, even. So I guess my time zones are wonky.... sorry. And "she wanted to tell him but she couldn't"-- does that mean that this post is after Faye and Ebin got together?))
Darius shifted his weight to the other foot. Things were a bit awkward right now... this hadn't ever happened before. Perhaps she needed some time alone... Darius didn't know much about the "time of the month" but maybe a quick temper and overreacting were symptoms?
"Well, er..." Darius said finally, "I think that I'm going to go back to the dormitories..." he started lamely. "I've got to clean my sheets before it gets dark out. Um. Bye..."
He moved to kiss her on the lips, but he changed himself at the last moment and gave her a peck on the cheek.
There was this certain new air to Faye... Darius decided to sleep on his problems.

((urm...yes?? I think so...lol & hey faye is not PMSing she is going through a weird crazy time lmao although PMSing is a thing that Faye will suffer badly at  )) Faye smiled awkwardly as he kissed her on the cheek and saw his back disappear. She felt strange. Why had Darius just brushed her off and went to bed? Althought it was understandable since she had just snapped at him. She fought with herself and closed her eyes to focus her thoughts ((all together now - *hummmmmm*)). "Wait! Darius!" She crashed through the door of the Three Broomsticks and ran as fast as she could to catch up with him. "Do you...do you mind if I come up?" She asked in between breaths. After she got her breath back she looked at him with guilty eyes. "I need to say something to you." She sighed and started twiddling her fingers nervously. |
