Penny was about to retaliate and say she wasn't actually scared, but in fact she was. "All right," she said, and muttered, "Lumos."

They get to the end of the tunnel and looked up at the rots of a huge tree. "ok so, you see that gap.... we just kinda gotta get through that and then were at the base of the Whomping Willow. I'll go first cuz i gotta kinda like 'turn the tree off'. then i'll say when it's all clear." Bradley stuggled through the hole and left Penny alone. She heard some thumping noises that made the ground shake, then they stopped. Bradley pocked his head through the hole and said "It's all clear the tree stopped and no one's comein' but hurry because the tree might 'turn on' any second." Bradley pulled his head out of the hole and put his hand out for Penny.
