I have had time to think about it, and for the first lesson I am not going to take drastic action. Skye and Otis will both get 3 points taken from their homework, and they should count themselves lucky, I don't know how Skye's name appeared on Otis' work, and frankly, If I am not going to hear the truth, I don't want ANY MORE DISCUSSION on this.
Next time, 0 for the assignment, and -10+ House points taken from your house, individually.
So now this case is closed, and if you did plagiarize, it is fine, but if not, and you can honestly say it, then send me a PM. But the -3 House points stand, because nobody can give me a reason.
I think maybe you could have PMed each other, but as I said, IM TIRED OF ARGUEING. I hope we can look forward and we have resolved this now.
--------------------
Otherwise, I have been (and am) very happy with the homework that was handed in. I hope you had a good time handing it in and thanks to those who handed in, I still require one more piece, and if that person does not hand it in they will lose house points.
I look forward to hearing your comments, and please, do not ever threaten me, just do the work from your own knowledge and research --- ITS MEANT TO BE FUN!
Regards,
Professor Black.
Marks!
Ronald Weasley (P) 5 House Points
--- Nice start, but try a little harder next time.
Lyra Woodendorf (T+) 10 House Points
--- Great work, keep it up.
Skye Barkson (T+ -3) 7 House Points
--- Maybe you were involved, maybe you weren't, but good work, don't take the -3 personally)
Otis Greenly (T+ -4,) 6 House
Points
--- If you did do this on your own, great work, and I know you are dedicated, but because Skye's name was on your submission, I had to assume you plagiarised. You lost one more than Skye because you threatened me, and please respect your teachers, I was not in the wrong, you were. If it was a coincidence, I am sorry, but you should be lucky I gave you 6 House points. Please DO NOT take offense to this, I did what I was advised to do. I hope to see some more good contributions from you in the future.
Fleur Delacour (T-) 9 House Points
--- Nice submission, just two questions wrong, but I loved your Charm, its was very creative. You are headed in the right direction. Headmaster moderated and moved your mark up.
Alexandra Garrow (H) O House Points
--- Work not submitted. Please do Lesson 2.
Augustus Caesar (T) 9 House Points
--- Good submission! Only problem was you stated "Lumos" which was used in the Books as well.
-----------------------------
I want YOU, as student, to respond now, WITH ONE THREAD ONLY, (any other replies you make will be deleted) what you thought about the lesson, your marks, and your comments you may have (about the issue) or whatever. Just let me know how you feel, I will respond, but please respect my decisions, and I hope you have enjoyed the first assignment.
Thank you for the first lesson, Lesson 2 has been posted! Due 30 April.
