I am fairly dissapointed at the number of assignments handed in to me for this lesson. Let me make it clear that every time you don't hand in work, you receive a "strike" and once you have 3, you are kicked out of this class. We already have a student on 2 strikes.
But, onto the work. Thanks for your submissions.
Lesson Two
Charms
Students
Ronald Weasley - Gryffindor (STRIKE 1)
Lyra Woodendorf - Gryffindor (T+) (14 house Points)
--- I was truly impressed with your submission, Lyra. Great work, thank you for the effort you put in. 4 Bonus points have been awarded (One extra for first to submit work). Great creativity for your essay.
Alexandra Garrow - Gryffindor (STRIKE 2)
Otis Greenly - Hufflepuff (LOST?)
Skye Barkson - Hufflepuff (T) (9 House Points)
--- Thanks for your work, I was happy with your submission, just one small issue with the essay, where I feel you didn't take action too quickly, you needed to think on your feet and be a little more creative. But still, great work.
Fleur Delacour - Hufflepuff (STRIKE 1)
Butch Watson - Slytherin (STRIKE 1)
Augustus Caesar - Ravenclaw (P+) (6 House Points)
--- Thank you for the work you put in, you just had an issue with the Essay question. It doesn't make sense, as you said you would apparate, and you are a first year at this school. You also had one question wrong. But thanks for the effort.
Darius Chide - Ravenclaw (T+) (13 House Points)
--- Great submission, very happy with your answers and your essay question. 3 Extra points given. Well done!
Derek Barkson - Hufflepuff (T) (8 House Points)
- Good submission, also just had a small issue with your essay, but it was still good work. Well done.
Lenoriss - Ravenclaw (STRIKE 1)
Faye Muel - Hufflepuff (I+) (4 House Points)
--- I am glad you tried the assignment. A little more effort researching (like Google.com) and you will do much better. You're questions were vague and you got at least two wrong. And why did you RP and make up the story in your essay? I wanted you to say: "I would first use the (whatever) charm, then run there...." etc. You RPed and you said she was smoking etc. I didn't tell you to make up a story. Please post in my office or below if you have a question.
Poppy Saritt - Ravenclaw (T+) (13 House Points)
--- Great work, answers we're short-ish, but very sweet. Well done! You got all the questions right, as well as the bonus question. You're essay was so creative, and the chocolate at the end was a great add on. Well done! 3 Bonus Points.
Bradly Huggins - Slytherin (E+) (8 House Points)
--- Thank you for your submission, your questions were correct, but you need to put in more effort and explain your work a bit more. But good work anyway.
Penny Ecco - Hufflepuff (STRIKE 1)
Hermione Granger - Gryffindor (CLEAR)
--- You were only added to class today, so you may still hand in work today, or just wait and do the next lesson.
Wondering how you will get graded?
T+, T, T- Terrific (9-10 house points)
E+, E, E- Exceptional (7-8 house points)
P+, P, P- Passing (5-6 house points)
I+, I, I- Inferior (3-4 house points)
H- Horrible, Not submitted (no points awarded)
I was fairly pleased with your work, if any of the other students want to hand in work, I will take off 5 House Points from your mark, but you will lose your strike.
You can also send me a reasonable excuse if you didn't hand it in, if you have a good reason. Also, please, if you wont be able to hand in work, let me know, I may just let you off for the week. I just need to know!
Thanks for the work, lesson 3 will be added soon, and please, if you have a question, post below.
Thank you,
Professor Black
