There are many things I would like to learn in potions class this year that I do not yet know. I would love to learn all of the most important ingredients in potion making. I know of one or two but I’m not even sure if I know what they are used in. I want to be able to make, or at least know how to make, the Drought of Peace. I have heard from others it is very difficult but it is something I want to try. Something else I would like to learn is how potions are used throughout the wizarding world. It would be interesting to learn about the different job opportunities you can have if you know how to make potions. All together, potions class sounds difficult .It seems to require lots of concentration, something I will have to improve on. That is what I hope to learn in this years potion’s class.

What I Know About Potions
I have been exposed to potions since I was bron, being that my mother is a wizard apothecary. Our house was like a laboratory with mice running around all over the place (those were the patients she would test her potions on), but enough about me. I was once told when I was very little that the most important ingredient in any potion is the magical power of the wizard creating the effect. Therefore, I know that muggles have attempted to make wizard potions, but constantly fail to do so. I also know that there are potions for many things, such as curing boils to growing hair. Last year I learned how to makea cleaning solution potion. It was my mom's idea, but lately I have been finding it very useful. I was exposed to many different items when I was little and I have pratically memorized the use for each ingredient such as how Jobberknoll feathers are used for memory potions and truth serums. The thing is I haven't had much practice in the actual making of a potion, so I hope that is one thing I learn from this class.
What I know about potions is that concentration and precise following of the instructions are some of the most important aspects when making a potion. I know that there are many poisons and nearly always antidotes for each of them. From what I have heard of other students I can take that mandrakes are often used in antidotes such as the ‘Mandrake Restorative Draft’, which to my knowledge was used to cure the petrified students a few years ago. One thing I would like to learn is how to identify different potions by the way they look or effect objects/people. Also, I am interested in the way different ingredients modify the effect of potions and would like to learn about the characteristics of some of the more important and commonly used ingredients. I think it will be very important to know which antidotes to apply if someone is poisoned .
I don't know anything about potions and that's why I've taken this subject up. I consider potions to be an important and essential subject to undertake, since it's a widely used form of magic. Not only is it helpful, the process of making potions require precise measurement and accuracy and I feel that by doing potions, it will develop my skill to follow instructions and be precise in my work. What I would like to learn is rather specific. I would like to learn remedies and cures for curses or injuries. I personally feel that that's an essential aspect of potions to learn because if it's not my brother who gets into trouble or is injured, my family develops unusual illnesses and to learn how to make remedies might also assist in one of my long time dreams - which is to find a cure for something that nobody has figured out. Apart from that, I am also interested in learning how to make truth potions. I look forward to learning much from you!

What I want to learn in potions this year, are how to make an aging potion. My Dad says that those are really fun. I also want to learn what are the bassick steps two making a potion. Another thing that I want to know is how to make an atidote. See, My Dad is an expert with potions but he won't let me make any untill I learn the right way how. The reason I want to learn how to make potions is because I think if a wizard or wich can master potions he/she can become very powerful. When I am older I really want to become an inventer of potions. I want to invent a potion that nobody has ever thought of.
Ginny Weasley What I know about Potions I know that there is a potion for almost everything. I know that there are so many potions that can save lives and also help you do little things like cleaning a house. It also can help you rid your house of pesky house pets like pixie’s and imp’s and doxies. I know that you can have a better quality of life threw the right potions. I know that this is something that can be learned but it is hard. Potions is a very precise art. You mess up on the recipe and you can seriously hurt yourself and others around you. I would like to learn everything about potions. I also want to learn any potions that will help in the fight against Voldmort. I’d also like to learn why each potion is made. I’d really like to learn to make the potion that helps you to have a dreamless sleep.
"He sounds exactly like Moody," said Harry quietly, tucking the letter away again inside his robes. "'Constant vigilance!' You'd think I walk around with my eyes shut, banging off the walls...."
