Favorite Color: Some form of blue... or a color you can only get if you take a whole bunch of pastels and crayons, smash them together, pour water on them and poke 'em with a stick.
Favorite Sport: I guess I like basketball... and gymnastics (circus-style)
Favorite non-HP book: I like a lot of philosophical books, but I'm getting into the whole Vampire Chronicals, and a book titled "I, Lucifer."
Your grade level: 9th
Favorite Animal: I like monkeys, flamingos, and camels. Or just some really odd, exotic animal that not too many people know about.
Favorite actor/actress: Umm... I find most actors/actresses fantastic in some roles, but utterly irritating in others. Thus, I have no lasting favorites... just favorites-of-the-hour.
Favorite Band(s): Pearl Jam, Led Zeppelin, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Pink Floyd, Nirvana, Dredg, Tilly and the Wall, Death Cab, Oasis, Tool... I don't know. Lots. I don't think about it that much, I just listen. We've got some good underground stuff where I live.
Do you have any siblings?: I do, indeed. Two older brothers, aged 19 and 22. I also have quite a few half-siblings, but they need not be mentioned.
AND, are you and any HP character simialr in any ways? (ex: personality, physical features, ect.): Not really... I'm half Indian (dad's from India and all that), so the closest to any character I'd be is Parvati or Padma Patil. However, I'm not gossipy by any means, and I don't fawn over boys or create drama just because it's fun. So, no.
Favorite HP-character(s): Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, Lucius Malfoy.

Hey Agoraphobia (why did you call yourself that, do you suffer from agoraphobia?), what's your fave Nirvana Album (or song?)? Do you know Queen? Ah and do you mean Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles? Well if you're reading I, Lucifer , then you'll have to read The Vampire Lestat. I think you'll like it. What kind of philosophical books do you read? More ancient philosphy or modern, nature, experimental, about specific philosphers?

My, my, aren't you the curious one? Well, I am not agoraphobic, I simply think that the word is nifty, and the meaning is interesting. My favorite Nirvana album is probably Bleach... and, yes, I do know Queen. And, as to your book-related series of questions, yes, I do mean Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicals. And, thank you for the recommendation, but I actually own that book (I just haven't gotten around to reading it yet). I'm actually immersed in my continuous Shakespeare phase, and just finished the last of his complete collection, so perhaps I'll read more in the Vampire stuff soon. As for philosophy, I read around. I read about a lot of different cultures and such, so as to get a wider perspective. A lot of mental/phsycological work goes hand in hand with certain forms of philosophy... and spirituality is interesting as well. I mean, I read basically anything that my brothers or parents mention, or anything I can find in my bookshelf that I haven't read already. I just like to write, so reading anything I can is helpful to give a bit more insight. So, what about you? You seem to be everywhere on this website... obviously a huge HP fan, eh?

Well yes, I am the curious one.... And yes, I am a huge HP fan! Well I haven't read Shakespeare, I think we're gonna read that in school soon though. Everyone says it's pretty hard, and I hate, I absolutely hate metaphors, and Shakespeare's work seems to be full of them. I'm more of a scientific person (haha, not that I'm good at science, but you know, I'm more of an Aristotle than a Platon, right?)and therefore I just wanna read facts, like boy, just say what you mean instead of telling me about bleeding birds in the wheel of life or something....But I love fantasy books, I mainly read fantasy, I'm just interested in philosophy, I take ethics at school and we learn a bit about philosophy. I've read a few books, and I must say I think Platon is a complete nutter But modern philosophy's quite interesting, too, and I'm very interested in psychology, and often when you read philosophical stuff it's about psychology too. I tried to read this book about theology and stuff, but it was too hard to understand, I think I'll give it a try next year. oh my god you poor thing, you have brothers too? Oh yeah that's right I read that, they're 19 and 22, do they behave like 4 year olds because mine do and they're 24 and 27.

Haha... well, no, can't say my brothers behave like 4 year olds all the time. They have their moments, however . Yeah, Shakespeare's work is filled with metaphors of every sort, which often frustrates people quite a bit. I myself am taken with the poetry of his statements, and the way he can turn the boring into the fantastic, or the ordinary into something you have to decipher and actually mull over for a while. I understand exactly what you mean with the whole scientific approach to things... straightforward, no-nonsense answers... no beating around the bush. I can relate to that as well (I'm the queen of random, seemingly useless facts)... however, I'm interested in Shakespeare and the like because such work is kind of enigmatic in a sense; something you have to really solve, or come to terms with. We don't really have a philosophy course or class at our school, so I just read it on my own time. I like hearing other people's opinions on situations, which is the only reason I somewhat like modern philosophy. See, I've never really been so comfortable with modern-age.. well, anything, really. I kind of feel like I'm caught up in a different time-period, so I like reading about such. Yeah... I read a lot of fantasy, too, and I write a lot of fantasy. I'm not the largest fan of non-fiction, but when it comes to philosophy or self-knowlege or something of the sort, then I make an exception. Especially books that are hard to understand... read them three or four times and they're often the most rewarding. It's awesome that you're into things like that... not so many people our age are. See, I've been around adults all my life (my family are all musicians... we have a music college, where I basically grew up), so I'm around all these really worldly people with ideas and opinions and knowledge that they want to pass down to anyone who's interested. And, of course, I was ALWAYS interested (I think this is where my need for traveling arose)... so, I've just become fascinated with all the different aspects of philosophy and how they differ around the world (i.e. epistemology, aesthetics, ethics, morality, metaphysics, etc.)... I like the idea that you can have a subject in question that spans out over the world through billions of contradictory opinions, and yet those same opinions are what forms new topics of discussion. I wish more things in life were like that, you know?
