Navra led Ebin down the twisting school corridors, and out the massive entrace hall archway that led to the expansive grounds. As they walked over the grass towards the lake, Navra dropped Dog on the ground, who immediatly began barking sharply and happily, running ahead of the two of them on his short legs. Navra followed the whippet, smiling as it enjoyed itself. Dog reached the shore of the lake, and barked at small waves that repeatedly washed the sand. "So, this is the lake," she pointed out the obvious.

Ebin hopped down the stone steps. Ebin nodded as Narva pointed out the grounds. He had been her with Troy on that very shore just yesterday, but decided he would humor her. "Wow, it is beautiful."

Navra grunted shortly in agreement, and took her wand out from the inside of her shirt and with a quick jerk in the direction of Dog, an invisible line connected Dog's collar to her wand tip. Dog growled as he was yanked backwards as the unseen cord was pulled taught, and then once he knew he was being manipulated with magic he whined and yipped sadly. Navra rolled her eyes, and began walking around the lake at a leisurley pace. "So," Navra began, looking at Ebin's clothing. "You haven't got house robes yet either, have you? I haven't been sorted either, but I hope that I'm in either Ravenclaw or Gryffindor. You?"

Ebin smiled in relief. It was the same houses he had wanted to be in. "I don't really know. None of them really sound like me. I guess Gryffindor, but I am not heroic so I doubt that I will go there. I like the idea of Ravenclaw. Being surrounded with intellectual people would be awesome. Slytherin looks pretty laid back and care free. Even Hufflepuff has Troy, have you met Troy? So I guess any house would be ok." Ebin stared at Narva's dog longingly.

Navra scoffed at Ebin's view of Slytherin. "Laid back?! I'm not sure who you know, but the lot of them are narrow minded. But then I hate stereotyping, so I shouldn't say that they all are.... Don't mind me, bad experiences." Navra grimaced. "But I know, it doesn't seem like I belong in any house. I'm not particularly one of those traits...yeah. But no, I haven't met Troy. Who is he?" Navra asked.

Ebin had just found out about the houses so he assumed his view of them must be askew. He laughed at Narva's comment on Troy, "She is a chick. And she is in Hufflepuff. She is a third year, like me, and is very quite but when she does speak it is of her mind." Ebin tried to describe Troy but it was hard. With her nothing was as it appeared.

"HE? I've only heard of Troy as a boy's name." Navra chuckled softly to herself. "Have you met Brass? She's..." Navra gave a growl. "She said the wrong thing to me."

Ebin looked up, away from her dog, "Brass? And you think Troy is a confusing name. What did Brass say?" Ebin hated getting second hand information about someone but thought that it would be the polite thing to say.

"Oh, never mind that bit," said Navra, dismissing the gossip with a disgruntled glance at Ebin. "She just assumed that I was pureblood pride...." Navra seethed.

Ebins gaze shot up at Navra "You aren't, are you?" Ebin was a SHARP. He hated Racism and Prejudice. Even if it was in the wizarding world it was all the same thing.

"NO I'M NOT PUREBLOOD PRIDE!" Navra shouted loudly. Dog whined pitifully as Navra bitterly pulled her wand taught, causing Dog to be dragged back to her side. "I hate people who are like that! I may be connected to some through my anscentry, but that doesn't mean that I have such narrow minded, idiotic views about pure wizard supiriority!!" Navra balled up her fists as her temper boiled to the surface.

Ebin just stood there. He was frowning. He rubbed a hand through his hawk and looked at his shoes as Narva yelled at him. He waited for her to simmer down before speaking. "Er... Ok. I believe you. Just making sure." He glanced over at the whimpering dog. "Do you mind if I play with 'Dog'?" Ebin had already forgiven Navra for exploding. Ebin left the same way about racism so he understood.

Navra took a huge breath and felt her blood simmer in her veins. She tucked a chunk of dyed hair behind her ear and calmed herself down. With small wave of her wand the invisible cord released Dog, who then ran happily in front of them, barking at flowers and trees stupidly. "Eat your heart out," Navra told Ebin. "You know, you should try and get your dalmation here."

As soon as Narva said it was ok he jumped onto of the dog knocking it over. It let out a loud yelp but then jumped on Ebin. He laughed and throw it off. Ebin jumped up ran a few steps back. He dog barked and chased after him. Ebin picked up a near by stick and waved it in the dog's face. He looked up at Navra. "I think I will talk to my mom tonight about it." The dog grabbed the stick and began to run off. The dog was incredibly skinny and got some distance with out much of a problem. Ebin throw off his jacket, and running backward yelled, "Look after it, it is vintage." He turned back around and sprinted after the dog.
((ooc: is it ok if I take over for the dog's RPing?))

((Definetely. But wasn't it a bit pointless to ask afterwards? )) Navra caught the jacket in her arms. It smelled like it was vintage.
