Australia probably doesn't have summer school because there isn't a great enough need for it (unlike the States). No, i'm not offending the US, I used to live there...

Your brother's on the forum? Does he play a boy? There are barely any boys, so I can't think of who it would be! Oh, and you wouldn't believe the numbers of er...vacant people (both sexes) at mine. I don't have more than three friends because the majority of the school is so stupid! Yesterday I found that most of my grade didn't know basic vocabulary, i.e., they didn't know what a pun was. *sigh* sometimes I think that I shouldn't even bother trying for good marks--my school is so daft that it barely is recognized as a place for education by colleges.

Actually, there's this new book out entitled, "Everything That's Bad For You Is Good For You," and it's about how today's television shows are actually helping you learn because most are so full of references to history, and current events and politics. I partially agree with it, but I still think that it's a dreadful thing to just sit down and stare at an electric box... I bet you don't think that video games make people stupider, eh? Actually, I was hoping to go to a college in Canada, (it's a school for animation--I love to sketch) so if you're ever considering somewhere West... I would love to try for Oxford, although most of my education has come from California (and the state of their schools are aweful) so that means I have little chance. and "way too smart to be accepted"? I haven't ever met one person who could say that. And I do wish I could come to Australia!

I guess I'm a fast typer... At my old school we had to take "Type to Learn" for a grade, so we were forced to learn how to type properly and quickly (but not on all the type slang, sadly. I don't understand most internet lingo).

ok, time for a new discussion, otherwise there will be little to no posts continuing on. Argh but what to talk about?! sigh. I guess we could talk about our favorite harry potter scenes or characters or something! I wish that more people were on again! This is so frustrating! By the way, thank you to those who have remained loyal to this site. Faye, Blaise, Troy, and Hope, I wish that I could use my Head Boy powers to upgrade you all or give you special privaledges (no need actually for Faye) but alas this site wont let me do anythign without the Headmaster. sigh..

This is Emily. I play Troy. I just wanted to say konnichiwa! Has anyone seen Howl's Moving Castle? It is by the same guy how did Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke. It is way better then the other two. I was just wondering because I really enjoyed it...

I saw Howl's Moving Castle! Christian Bale did the voice of Howl, did he not? Yeah, I really liked it. But, I did think that Princess Mononoke was better. In any case, it was well done... I liked the whole idea. Not quite what I expected, but throwing the issue of war in there didn't hurt. Spirited Away was really well done, too... those glob-like/mud-esque henchmen in Howl's reminded me of the guy in Spirited Away...
Alright, I'm going to stop ranting. And, Darius, I'm sorry I haven't been posting as much. It's becoming difficult to get myself on the internet.
