OK........reply number: 1. yes pardon me. i read it wrong. i thought you wrote 'i reported to australia' 2. darius is a bit like percy but now i think his characteristics have merged into your own (did that make sense? lol) 3. your haircut darius sounds like your icon - is it? 4. my favourite is also the third book except i like the fifth book as well...can't wait for the uh...sixth??? 5. i agree, the movie was bad. i think all the movies kind of ruined it. im not a movie fan lol 6. about reading the third book - should i start to read it from there to understand the sixth??? i dont know - i can't really remember the other books. [sigh] im undecided. 7. how do we edit messages darius? (ahhh....my lucky number!!! hehe)

no, you should reread all of them, because JKR has announced that the sixth book's plot ties in a little bit with the second. And how to edit messages--- for the pages that we are allowed to moderate, there should be an array of choices for us to do on everybody who posts in the page. For each post in that topic you should be able to edit it, delete it, or quote it. So...besides giving out detentions, that's about the full extent of our powers. Yes, my haircut is like my icon... I didn't intend for it to me! My mom picked it out. And I hate all the harry potter movies! They all ruin my original, imaginative portrayel of Harry Potter....especially for the casting of Ron and SIRIUS! AND LUPIN! With his mario mustache!

hehe. i'll try and re-read all of them. i have too many books to read and im stressing out! im sure your mother will let you have another haircut. cut it not so with a "bang." [sigh] that was another lame joke......you spell mum with an 'o!' that's so cute. i thought you'd have taken the british version of spelling it rather than the american. but anyways, i was realy disappointed in all the characters. somehow i imagined all of them to be very different. and do you think the actors who play cedric diggory and cho chang are like.........suited?

About the mom---sadly, I still have my horrible flat, californian accent (which leads to much ridicule) and I still call my mum "mom", when at home. So I spell it differently from time to time. But right now what I'm working on is "colour" and "favourite", because when I was back in english class I was graded down by my "american spelling mistakes". sigh. Yes, me too! Harry was supposed to be skinny, ron tall, hermione plain-looking, and neville, well, he was fine at first but now that he's grown into his face he's dissapointing as well. But I think that Cedric is pretty good, but he looks far too old to be 17. Cho, I think, will be satisfying as well...but then I hate Cho as a character so I don't care what she looks like, because I'll still dislike her when I see the movie.

californian accent lol....you'll pick up an english accent hopefully lol. not that i have anything against american accents. people often say that i have a hint of an american accent. strange! i agree with you especially about Cedric being too old. but Cho should have been different. i can't believe you don't like her in the book? She's all right but a tad bit.....what's the right word? a bit to stereotypical. do you get what i mean?

the main reason I don't like Cho Chang is because of her haughty attitude. I also was completely against Harry and Cho as a couple. And I do think she is a bit too steriotypical-- she is like the ultimate example for a horrible girlfriend, and that is an image that I have seen countless times in movies and in other books.

Hey... so sorry to jump into the middle of this conversation, but I just wanted to talk to Darius briefly: You live in Shrops, yes? Well, my cousins Jacob and Thomas live in Shrops as well, and I'm visiting them next week. Will you be around? I was wondering where in the area you live... because I know it's weird and all, but we're going to the festival and were wondering if you were too. Perhaps we could meet up? Yeah, that does seem odd (I'm quite apprehensive when it comes to internet meetings), but it might be fun. If you're anything like your character on the site, I think we'll get along fine. Anyway, I was just curious. I'll be in Shropshire for about a week and half, incase you were interested. (By the way, I swear I'm not some loser who signs on to Harry Potter websites to talk myself up and make myself seem cool. Honestly

Are you referring to the Bishops Castle Carnival on the 3rd or the celebrate the 1940's festival/artisans festival? I would like to (even though i'm extremely reserved, and this would be quite outgoing for me) , but these days I'm in school, but I try to get out of the house once in a while, and I will especially now that I could have a chance to meet you! And I am not one of those people who gloats about themselves through their character either, so you don't have to worry about that. I am just as realistic as Darius, flaws and all, only I can't use magic, obviously. Keep your eye out for a tall and gangly bowl-haired (brown) 15 year old (me) in the crowds, while you're visiting!

Nah, I was actually talking about the Ludlow (?) Festival.... maybe that's completely wrong... but, it's just what Tom told me. In any case, I really hope to see you there! I'll be in Shrops for a long enough while, so we can keep checking in on the website. Do you have a screen name for AOL Instant Messenger? (I know we're both of europe, but since we've both spent a while in America, I thought maybe you'd also have AIM).
I'm fairly reserved myself, and usually tend to stick to the libraries or (generally) the house when I stay with my cousins, but I thought this a fair chance to expand my horizons! Especially since we've both lived in California at some point. Well, hope to see you there, eh? (Look for one of the random blonde haired, blue eyed kids next to two tall Italians!)

by the way, are you an insomniac as well? posting at 3:00 in the morning counts. Ludlow Festival? That's going on right now, isn't it? No, sorry, I don't have AIM or any other instant messanger service, because my parents forbid it. Sadly. Even though we have videocam, but there's no point in owning that because I don't have a proper email, either. If we somehow manage to meet it will truly be a miracle-- there are going to be thousands of yellow and brown haired people. Oy....

I don't understand the temper of him. Did you hear that after he threw the phone and a vase he leapt into a martial arts pose? What a loon. And I KNOW he's not Austrailian! It would be an insult to Austrailians if he was (so i'll just let America take the blame).
